Kitchen #1
The
lighting layout in this kitchen was a delight to design. We had a
very spacious area to work with.
Because
of its size, it presented us with some challenges. We added
additional recessed lights in the center area of the kitchen to give
a consistent uniform light. Smaller kitchens do not require this.
A
separately controlled recessed light over the sink gives extra light
for doing dishes and is great for a evening light.
The plan
for the light layout was to ensure ample lighting plus keep a
consistent light around the perimeter to highlight the cabinets.
The
recessed cans shown here have a 65 watt reflective type lamp and a
white conical baffle installed in them.
